Going back to the drawing board in product design is something we hear all the time, but never really seems to hit as close to home as it does with The Bicymple. Scalyfish Designs has literally reimagined the bicycle from the ground up and The Bicymple is the result. With the removal of the chain, the number of moving parts and the overall complexity of the transportation contraption as a whole are greatly reduced. The result is a direct-drive, freewheeling hub that joins the crank arm axis with the rear-wheel axis. The wheels don’t always have to be in line with each other, which means you can ride it crab style and turn like London cabs do.
