The luxury brand Porsche Design has launched the latest writing tool in its accessories collection, in the form of a fountain pen, P‘3135 Solid. The name suggests the pen’s special feature: the solid is milled from a single piece of solid titanium.
The shaft is precisely milled, polished and then finished, with a scratchproof PVD coating. This plasma vacuum coating is made of 99.99 per cent pure titanium and produces a scratchproof surface, which is also ten times harder than steel.
