Though you'll never have the chance to meet Pliny the Younger in person, you can still have a drink of the very limited beer named after this guy who lived more than 2,000 years ago. This 10.5% ABV is a Triple India Pale Ale, meaning that with one beer, you'll taste triple the amount of hops as a regular IPA. With that said, you can imagine the painstaking process and time that it took the Russian River Brewing Company to make this beer. At $8 for a pour of 10 ounces, this beer is extremely full-bodied with lots of character in the nose and throughout. It is also deceptively well-balanced and smooth.
