Throw away your desktop. Throw away your smartphone. The new Ubuntu Edge not only serves as a high powered Android smartphone, but also a full-fledged PC. To use it as a desktop PC, plug it into an HDMI, then pair it with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The Ubuntu Edge is throwing in a lot of hardware with a 2.4GHz quad-core CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. Meanwhile the aesthetics of the phone will sport a scratchless sapphire crystal screen (only diamond would be harder than this), a 4.5-inch 1,280 x 720 display, an 8MP rear / 2MP front-facing camera, stereo speakers, and dual global LTE antennas. As for connectivity: dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC, along with MHL support. Now the big question is whether the batteries are going to last the rest of the day.
