Canon has just announced their new VIXIA Mini camcorder, which is designed for users looking to share their videos and photos through social media sites like Facebook and YouTube. Available in black or white, the VIXIA Mini features a Canon f/2.8 fisheye lens with a 160-degree viewing angle for video and a 170-degree viewing angle for photos. The VIXIA Mini’s 12.8-megapixel High-Sensitivity CMOS image sensor works with Canon’s DIGIC DV 4 image processor to create the Canon HS System, which supports Full HD 1920 x 1080p video capture in the Web-friendly MP4 format and 12-megapixel photo capture as well. You can also toggle between Wide-Angle or Close-Up shooting modes with a touch of the LCD screen.
