Lexus LF-NX Concept
It comes as little surprise to see Lexus taking aim at the luxury compact crossover segment with its latest LF-NX crossover concept. Up front, the LF-NX sports the obligatory spindle grille accented by LED daytime running lights separate from the headlight unit, a design cue we first saw on the 2014 IS. The rest of the LF-NX continues with Lexus' so-called 'L-Finesse' design language, with a vertical swathe cutting into the front overhangs and a diamond-like beltline down the side.
Few details were dished about what lies beneath the many angles of the sheet metal; all Lexus says is that the LF-NX will boast a hybrid powertrain, derived from one of its sedans and tuned for this particular application. It is also rumored it will be among the first Lexus models to sport a turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
