The Caterham Group, known for manufacturing lightweight sports cars recently announced its plans to introduce its Bike division, starting with a trio of two-wheelers. The first in the series is the Caterham Brutus 750 Motorcycle, slated for release in the spring of 2014.
The Caterham Brutus 750 is the first true multi-terrain motorcycle. While designed to function as a sport street bike or an off-road machine, the purchase of an after-market kit can convert the bike into a snowmobile. Dubbed as the “SUV of motorcycles” because of its menacing stance and power, the Brutus 750 is like an ATV chopped in half. What Caterham is really proud of is the Brutus 750’s automatic transmission; allowing even inexperienced riders to enjoy the thrill of a motorcycle with minimal complexity. The Brutus 750 will be the first two-wheeler from the motorcycle division, with two electric bikes being released later in 2014 - the Classic E-Bike and the F1 inspired Carbon E-Bike.
